Can Claude post to LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram?

Yes, with Composio. Composio is the connection layer that lets Claude publish to your social accounts. Claude drafts a post for each platform, you review and approve it in the chat, and Claude publishes it. TEG sets this up with a human approval step so nothing goes live without your say-so. Here's how most teams use Claude for social media today. Someone opens a chat, asks for a LinkedIn post, gets a pretty good draft, copies it, opens LinkedIn in another tab, pastes it, fixes the formatting, then does it all over again for X and Facebook. Claude did the hard part, and a person still spends twenty minutes moving text between windows.

That last step is the one that kills consistency. When posting takes effort, it gets pushed to tomorrow, and tomorrow turns into next week. Composio gets rid of it. With Composio connected, Claude can publish the post you approved to the platform you picked, right from the conversation where you wrote it.

TEG is an official member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network. We set up Claude Skills, Projects, and integrations like Composio so marketing teams can go from idea to published post in one place. See our full Claude services.

What is Composio?

Composio is an integration platform built for AI agents. It gives Claude secure, authenticated access to hundreds of business apps, and the social platforms are some of the most useful: LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and YouTube. The hard parts of connecting an AI to these platforms are sign-in, permissions, token refresh, and each platform's API quirks. Composio handles all of that and hands Claude a clean set of tools like "create a LinkedIn post" or "publish a tweet."

It plugs into Claude through MCP, the same open standard Claude uses to connect to your CRM, calendar, and documents. If you've read our piece on what MCP servers mean for your business, this is the same idea pointed at your marketing channels. It's also the same tool we use to connect multiple Gmail and CRM accounts to Claude. Once it's connected, posting is just one more thing Claude can do when you ask.

How does Claude post to social media with Composio?

When this is set up properly, a typical session goes like this:

  1. You bring the raw material. A client win, notes from a webinar, a blog post you just published, a stat that caught your eye. A rough voice memo transcript works fine.
  2. Claude drafts for each platform. A longer, story-driven version for LinkedIn, a tight version for X, and a more casual one for Facebook. Each one follows your brand voice and formatting rules, because those live in a Skill Claude loads every time.
  3. You review and edit in the chat. "Make the LinkedIn one shorter." "Drop the hashtags on X." "Tag the client's company page." You go back and forth until it sounds right.
  4. You approve, and Claude publishes. Claude calls Composio, and the posts go live on each account. You get the links back right in the conversation.

What used to take an afternoon of switching tabs now takes about ten minutes. More importantly, it's easy enough that it actually happens every week.

What mistakes do teams make when automating social posting?

The technology is the easy part. We see the same three mistakes again and again.

  • Letting Claude post without review. It's tempting to fully automate it. Don't. One off-tone post on a company page costs more than a year of saved time is worth. Every workflow we build keeps a person approving each post before it goes live.
  • Skipping the brand voice work. Without a defined voice, every post sounds like generic AI content, and your audience can tell. The Skill that holds your voice, your banned phrases, and your formatting rules is what makes the posts sound like you.
  • Treating posting as the strategy. Publishing faster doesn't help if you're publishing the wrong things. Composio solves the last mile. It doesn't decide what's worth saying, who it's for, or how it connects to your pipeline.

A few platform details are worth knowing too. Instagram requires a business or creator account and an image or video with every post. LinkedIn treats personal profiles and company pages differently. Every platform has rate limits and content rules. None of these are dealbreakers, but they're the kind of thing that turns a quick setup into a frustrating weekend if you haven't done it before.

How does TEG set up Claude social media posting?

We don't install Composio and leave. We build it into a complete Claude marketing system, so publishing is the last step of a process that starts with strategy. When TEG sets this up for you, we:

  • Connect Composio to your Claude environment and link your company and personal social accounts with the right permissions.
  • Build a brand voice Skill from your best existing content, so every draft starts out sounding like you.
  • Set up a content Project with your positioning, audiences, offers, and content calendar, so Claude knows what you're trying to accomplish and not just what to write.
  • Design the approval workflow so drafts always go through a human before publishing, with clear ownership of who approves what.
  • Connect the content to the rest of your stack. A new blog post can turn into a week of social posts. A closed deal in your CRM can prompt a case study draft. A webinar transcript can turn into a series of clips and posts.
  • Train your team to run it themselves, so this keeps working when your strategy changes or Claude adds new features.

This is the part most teams can't get to on their own. Not because it's technically hard, but because it takes time to get the voice, the guardrails, and the workflow right. That's the work we do. It's the same approach we take for every Claude environment we set up: built around your team, tested on your real accounts, and handed off with your people trained.

Social media is a relationship channel. The goal isn't more posts. The goal is showing up consistently and sounding like yourself in front of the people who matter to your business. Claude and Composio take the friction out. Your team keeps the judgment.

Frequently asked questions

What is Composio?

Composio is an integration platform that gives AI agents like Claude secure, authenticated access to hundreds of business apps, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit. It handles the sign-in and permissions for each app and exposes them to Claude as tools, typically through an MCP connection.

Can Claude post to LinkedIn on its own?

Not out of the box. Claude needs a connection to LinkedIn's API to publish anything. Composio provides that connection, and you can link several accounts at once, as covered in our guide to connecting multiple accounts to Claude. Once it's set up, Claude can publish a post you've approved to your personal profile or a company page you manage.

Will Claude publish posts without my approval?

Only if you set it up that way, and we don't recommend it. Every workflow TEG builds keeps a human approval step before anything goes live. Claude drafts, you review and edit, and Claude publishes only after you say go.

Can TEG set up Composio and Claude for my team?

Yes. TEG connects Composio to your Claude environment, links your social accounts, builds a brand voice Skill and a content Project, sets up the approval workflow, and trains your team to run it. It becomes one piece of a broader Claude marketing strategy, not a standalone tool.
